The design process, an iterative cycle of investigation, ideation, rapid prototyping, and testing, is used in several areas of expertise inside and outside design. For instance, it has found its application in education, too. However, in many educational settings, the design cycle is practised in a one-off, linear way while one of its main strengths lies in the iterations. Manon believes that the final step of the cycle, testing and reflecting on mistakes and successes, is essential to iteration. But how can educators systematically capture mistakes and learn from them to improve their teaching?
