As design researcher, Maartje is exploring personalisation in knitwear, by developing an interactive method to engage the consumer in the creation process of her own garment. The collection exists of different models, in which colour, material and knitting structure can be customised. This method should add to a more personal attachment to the garment, and to the longevity of fashion product's use.
It truly enhances my way of shopping - this system really works, I feel involved as I am part of the process
