Simon Pummell Premieres New Film Frankenstein’s Dream at Imagine Festival
As part of his research project ANIMATE BODIES & MECHANICAL MINDS, Simon Pummell has completed a striking new film titled Frankenstein’s Dream. Pummell, currently Senior Research Lecturer (hoofddocent) and Director of the Lens-Based Media Programme at the Piet Zwart Institute, explores the boundaries between human and machine in this visually compelling work.
The film will have its Dutch premiere on November 6th at 19:00 during the 41st Imagine Fantastic Film Festival in Amsterdam. Additional screenings are scheduled for October 31, and November 7. For a glimpse into the film’s haunting aesthetic, you can check out the trailer via this link.
