Advertising Students Win Bronze Pencils

Willem de Kooning Academy
Wed 17 May

Rogier van der Galiën and Robin van Eijk, two third year Advertising students, have challenged themselves to go to School of Visual Arts (NY) for an exchange semester and got accepted to the 'Unconditional Advertising' class of Frank Anselmo. Frank focuses on award shows during his classes and the yearly One show (Young ones) is one of them. Over the past years Willem de Kooning Academy students have been very successful in this competition.

In the past months Rogier and Robin worked hard to turn the Social and the Client/Commercial Brief into several concepts, especially focusing on fine-tuning before sending it in for the competition. But their hard work payed off: they won two Bronze pencil awards! (one pencil for each brief)

We congratulate R&R with this fantastic result!

Founded in 2005, the One Show competition is sponsored by The One Club, a not-for-profit organization that champions excellence in advertising through the promotion and celebration of design work. The annual Young Ones Competition identifies the most promising up-and-coming international creative talent, celebrated during Creative Week at The Young Ones Education Festival.
