Project: Functionality
The fourth quarter of the First year Fashion Design Major was dedicated to functionality, which inspired me to think about the equipment we need for outdoor activities like hiking and climbing. I got inspired by hanging tents that bring camping to another level. This freeing and fun experience is what I have translated into my final design: A Hanging Armour.

My goal was to merge outdoor and city life into one garment, something that could be worn in both surroundings so people would set out into nature more easily. The garment is made of voluminous forms - it absorbs shocks while looking rather aesthetic.
