Vormlust is a graphic design duo consisting of Romy Brand & Boyd Koers. The work of Vormlust is characterised by idiosyncratic style and a recognisable signature: bold use of form and colour. Always taking a curiosity and open mind as a starting point they develop an honest and striking design together with their clients.

We want to see colour, shape and emotion.

An important motive of Vormlust is that we would like to get rid of the grey and grey design that dominates the streets of many cities. We want to see colour, shape and emotion. Because of the use of vibrant colours and clear shapes, our designs radiate pleasure and the message is always clear. By colouring a city through posters, flyers, visuals, façades and banners we try to make grey urban environments more welcoming.
This does not only apply to the analogue world, it largely shifts to the digital world, where we are driven by visuals, animations, videos and social media content. By keeping up to date with the latest trends and memes, we remain current and fresh.
We see ourselves as a real Rotterdam design agency, which results in a sincere and honest way of designing and communicating. We show how free, colourful, open, diverse and honest the city is through our work.
