This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as the Willem de Kooning Academy & the Piets Zwart Institute. The goals is to offer financial support to talented students studying at one of our institutes. The NL Scholarship is a scholarship for students with a NON-EEA nationality, who have no previous education in the Netherlands. This scholarship is for new students only. Students making a switch from a different department or institute are not eligible for the NL scholarship.
The total scholarship per student is €5000, paid out in two terms.
How to apply:
- Write a letter of motivation answering the following questions (max. of 2 pages A4 size.)
- What is your motivation for your choice of study and why do you want to study this at WDKA / PZI.
- What are your learning goals and what do you hope to achieve from this study?
- How will this scholarship benefit you?
- What will you use the scholarship for?
- How will you financially support yourself besides this scholarship?
- Fill in this statement of financial resources. (link & bijgevoegd document)
Email both your letter and financial statement to wdka.admission@hr.nl.
Please put the following information in the file names:
- Full name
- student number
- name of study / major.
For example: Lisa Andrews_1234567_Photography

Please note that the number of scholarships we can hand out is limited, so unfortunately not everyone who meets the requirements will receive a scholarship.
