Once you have registered with Studielink, you will receive a confirmation email containing your login details. (Please check your spam folder!). When you use these to log in to your personal online environment, your application to the WdKA will begin. There are three rounds of admissions. You can upload your work for the first round until 17 January. For the second round, the deadline is 14 March; for the third round, it is 6 June.
Please note that you can only apply for one of the Art & Design majors we offer at the WdKA. In addition to this, you may also apply for DBKV (the teacher training programme) and LEM (Leisure and Events Management).
For Dual Degree candidates: Please ensure that you are also registered with IBACS or EUC when you apply as a Dual Degree candidate at WdKA.
A big part of the application process is the admission exam, which consists of two stages. The first stage involves uploading your work. Our tutors will review your portfolio and your personal motivation. If the assessment is positive, you will be invited to a matching interview. This is the second stage. During this interview, we will discuss your portfolio, your expectations, your ideas and your ambitions. The final decision will be made afterwards. You will be informed of this decision approximately 3–4 weeks after the matching interview. Please bear in mind that this is an estimate and that the actual time may vary.
For the first stage, you will need to upload two items to your personal online environment:
- your portfolio
- questionnaire about your personal motivation
