During the Dutch Film Festival (NFF), multiple students of Willem de Kooning won prizes during the NFF Talent Day.
During the ceremony, there were seven Wildcards handed out by the Dutch Film Fund, of which 3 went to WdKA students: Somar Yahya (Where All the Questions End), Floris van Laethem (Realmbreak Hotel) en regieduo Evelijn Neefjes & Joanna Koleva.
Next to the wildcards, Bașak Kirici, recently graduated from WdKA, won the EY Talent Award for the production with the highest production value: Zeze & Mercedes. You can find the trailer of the film here.
