Willem de Kooning Academy of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is pleased to announce the upcoming EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) Conference, scheduled for Thursday November 9 and Friday November 10, 2023.
The EDI conference will focus on the critical themes of ‘Decolonisation of the Curriculum’ and ‘Accessibility of Education’. EDI Conference will offer a comprehensive programme that explores these crucial topics from a variety of perspectives. There will be keynote speakers, workshops, discussion tables, other activities and food and drinks.
Programme sneak peek
The conference will be opened with a word of welcome by our new dean Úna Henry. She will start her new position at WdKA from November 1, 2023. The following keynote speakers and workshop facilitators will be part of the two-day programme: Aminata Cairo, Bregje Termeer, Jean-Marie Schmidt, Sara Huang, shy*play, students and tutors from the WdKA and many others.
