Admission in English, BA
At the moment, it is not yet possible to apply for the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
We would like to let you know that our registration tool, together with all information on the admission rounds and admission exam, will be available around 1 October 2024.
We encourage you to keep a close eye on this page for updates.
Note: The admission information you will find below is information about last academic year's admissions. This is not yet up to date.
Register via Studielink & WdKA website
The first step in the application process for all Bachelor courses in the Netherlands is to register via Studielink. Please select ‘Hogeschool Rotterdam’ or ‘Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences’ to submit your enrollment request for Willem de Kooning Academy.
You will receive a student number through Studielink, which you will then need to apply to the WdKA. It can take up to a week before you receive your student number from Studielink, so make sure you register in time for you to apply to WdKA before the application deadline. Please note that you can only apply for one of the Majors we offer at the WdKA.
After applying at the WdKA and receiving confirmation of your registration, the WdKA Admissions team will process your request and send you an invitation by email to start your admission process. In this email you will find all the information necessary for the application as well as a link to your personal intake page where you can upload and fill in additional information required.

You will receive the results within five weeks after the deadline. Click on the links below for an in-depth explanation regarding each of these parts and information regarding the admission competencies.
Requirements international applicants
Next to the remote admission exam (consisting of four assignments) there are other requirements for international students to apply to WdKA such as uploading the hard copies of your diplomas and the visa process for non-EU applicants.
