Master of Education in Arts (part-time)
14.00 – 15.30 hr
The Master of Education in Arts is a two-year part-time master. The relation between practice and theory is a central feature of the program: participants test, design and experiment with pedagogical models and tactics, as much as research them. The program focuses on contemporary developments in art/design education, including critical pedagogy, education philosophy, critical making, interdisciplinarity, museum education and participatory practices. We welcome practitioners in the field of vocational, secondary and higher art/design education, museum education, as well as artists/designers working with socially engaged, experimental pedagogical practices.
Each year we organise a series of Open Information Meetings to welcome future students. Join us for the first online ZOOM session related to the WdKA Open Day to find out more about our programme! The course director will introduce the program and afterwards, there is time for a Q & A with tutor(s) and student(s).
Please subscribe before Friday 13th November via the email: firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us your name, background (discipline) and what you expect from our master (short text). For general information please visit: www.pzwart.nl/master-education-in-arts/
Master Design (part-time)
Based on their own design question, students within the Master Design learn to do design and in-depth design research. They constantly reflect on what they discover and convey their work and expertise through storytelling. They combine and integrate this part-time master with their design practice, renew their own role and in this way that of creative professionals in society and organisations. They contribute to social, environmental and technological change. The combination of participatory work and authorship is fundamental.
Join us during the Online Open Day Zoom session to find out more on our course, in a program where the course director, a tutor and two students share their insights and answer questions.
