The award ceremony for the first, second and third prize winners of the North Sea Jazz 2018 Art Posters.

Since the North Sea Jazz Festival had moved to Rotterdam in 2006 its annual Art Poster Competition has turned into a tradition. The Art Poster Competition is held among students of Rotterdam’s Willem de Kooning Academy; the work of all finalists is usually exhibited at the festival.
The winner of the First Prize of the North Sea Jazz 2018 Art Poster Competition Simon Uyterlinde, (Illustration, 2nd Year) had been announced in February. Back then, the Jury had also selected 14 posters that should accompany the First Prize poster in the exhibition at the North Sea Jazz Festival and in Jazz Cafe Dizzy. In this selection, the second and third winners have been chosen. The names of these two winners will be announced at the opening of the exhibition on July 11 in Jazz Cafe Dizzy.
All nominees are, in random order; Charlotte van Alfen, Maarten Baan, Madelief van de Beek, Eva van der Cammen, Eveline van der Duim, Isa Norhadi, Niels Hofsteenge, Mate Sandor Olah, Isabella Keppij, Laura Ketting, Daan Kuyper, Anne Schaarschmidt, Sam Oazzouz.
