If you want to study at WdKA, please follow the steps as mentioned on this page.

The deadline for applying at WdKA is May 1st, 2023. The deadline for non-EU applicants has passed since 1 March, it is no longer possible to apply for 2023-2024. Please note: these are the deadlines to register. After your registration you will need to participate in one of the admission rounds. Dates for the admission (exam) are mentioned below. After you have applied for admission, you can choose in which of the three admission rounds you wish to participate.

Deadlines for admission rounds WdKA

WdKA organises three rounds, during which we carry out the admission assessments. After applying to WdKA, you can choose in which of the three rounds you wish to participate. It is up to you to finish your online admission exam before one of these three deadlines. The results of the assessments will be communicated within four to five weeks after the deadline.

Rounds one and two are the main admission rounds. If you wish to apply in the third round please note that we might have a limited number of places available for certain programmes. The chances of placement will be lower than in the first two rounds. Should you apply in the third round and there are no more places available, you can choose to be placed on a waiting list. Should a place become available, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Register at Studielink

The first step in the application process for all Bachelor programmes in the Netherlands is to register at Studielink. This step needs to be carried out before you can apply and register for admissions at WdKA. When you start your application in Studielink, please select ‘Hogeschool Rotterdam’ or ‘Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences’ in order to submit your enrollment request for Willem de Kooning Academy. You will receive a student number through Studielink, which you need to apply at WdKA. Please note: it can take up to a week before you receive your student number from Studielink. Make sure you apply to WdKA well before the application deadline and take into account the processing time for receiving your student number. Apply to WdKA

After registering at Studielink and receiving your student number, you can apply to WdKA. Please note that you can only apply to one of the Bachelor programmes we offer at the WdKA (unless you combine a Design or Define Arts Bachelor programme with a Design Teacher or Leisure & Event Management programme.) Through this admission form you can apply to enroll in the 1st or 2nd year. Admission process

After registering at WdKA and receiving your registration confirmation, the WdKA Admissions team will process your request and send you an invitation by email to start your admission process. In this email you will find all the information necessary for the application as well as a link to your personal intake page where you can upload and fill in all that is required. Part of the admission process is the admission exam. The admission exam consists of four parts. Make sure to complete and upload all of them on your intake page!
