The Art School Reinvented is an ongoing web-to-print publication where each individual reader can print their own selection.

In 2013, the Willem de Kooning Academy, in collaboration with the Research Centre Creating 010, published Reinventing the Art School, 21st Century. At the time, the academy had recently implemented a new interdisciplinary curriculum focusing on three core Practices: Autonomous, Commercial and Social. Building further on the previous publication, this ongoing web-to-print publication delves deeper into these Practices by describing the characteristics of each profile and showcasing exemplary autonomous, commercial and social projects by recent graduates.

By continuously adding up-to-date and relevant projects to this publication, we are building an archive that provides an overview of the full scope of these Practices, the way students make them their own, and how all of this changes over time.
